The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared Global Pandemic for COVID-19 on March 11, 2020. The Organizing Committee of the 2nd ICECME 2020 is committed to continually monitor the current development of the spread of COVID-19 as your safety is our top priority and concern. The Organizing Committee of 2nd ICECME 2020 will provide an Online/Video presentation for the Keynote Speakers and presenters if the speakers and presenters are unable to attend the conference due to the COVID-19. For those attending the conference on the conference site, depending on pandemic situation updates, the COVID-19 prevention protocols will be implemented on-site such as cleaning hands with hand sanitizers, wearing masks during the conference event, and physical distancing as recommended by the WHO to prevent the spread of COVID-19 even further.
WELCOME
The last International Conference on Experimental and Computational Mechanics in Engineering (ICECME) was successfully held in Banda Aceh on 18-19 November 2019. All sixty five papers accepted was published on several publications with the detail as: sixteen papers were published on Defect and Diffusion Forum Journal, twenty six papers were published on Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Processing and System Journal, and twenty four papers were published on IOP Conference Series.
Therefore, we are proudly present the second ICECME series in conjuction with International Conference on Information Technology, Advanced Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (ICITAMEE) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Due to the Covid-19 issue, the conference will be in form of online or semi-online presentation (TBA later) on 13-14 October 2020. ICECME is a conference which discussing and enhancing the latest research on several different topics of mechanical engineering, computational mechanics, materials, ergonomics, and industrial engineering. We are pleased to welcome the authors with their best papers on following topics: 1) Computational mechanics, 2) Metallurgy and material science, 3) Energy, 4) Manufacturing processing systems, 5) Industrial and system engineering, 6) Biomechanics, 7) Artificial intelligent, 8) Micro/nano engineering, 9) Micro-electro-mechanical system, 10) Machine learning, 11) Mechatronics, and 12) Engineering design.

PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITY
All accepted and presented papers of the International Conference on Experimental and Computational Mechanics in Engineering (ICECME) 2020 will be submitted and published in the Open Access Publisher: IOP Conference Series: Material Science and Engineering (MSE) which normally will be indexed by Conference Proceedings Citation Index – Science (CPCI-S) Thomson Reuters, Web of Science, EI Compendex, and SCOPUS SciVerse. All papers published in IOP Conference Series are fully citable and upon publication will be free to download in perpetuity.
PUBLICATION LICENCE FOR OPEN ACCESS PROCEEDINGS PAPERS. IOP Conference Series operates a publishing licence, under which authors retain copyright of their papers and they no longer need to sign and submit copyright assignment forms.
